Senior Landscape Designer
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Landscape Architect to lead and work on high profile projects across the office, and to help strategically grow our landscape business and expand the existing Landscape team. You will have a minimum 10 years of experience working across different stages of complex projects from conception to completion and have an enthusiasm for business development. Previous experience in the Middle East would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the landscape team and encourage collaboration
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining first-class people and business skills
  • Project Management
  • Establish landscape requirements and manage resourcing
  • Work with the Head of New Business to identify opportunities and secure new business for the practice

Project Team Member
Adjaye Associates is looking for a Project Team Member in our New York office interested in working on a broad range of scales from private houses, retail and exhibitions to cultural centers, civic landmarks, residential towers and community masterplans. The successful candidate will share in our devotion for social impact and will be committed to developing high-quality work in a self-motivated but collaborative manner, with a strong desire to continually learn.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with and report daily to Project Lead and/or Project Architect
  • Drafting comprehensive drawing sets from concept through construction documents
  • Generate detailed 3D models to develop all aspects throughout the changing design process
  • Produce professional‐level photo realistic renderings
  • Build physical models throughout all project phases using combination of hand and machine
  • Provide research assistance for topics such as site context or material and system selections
  • Assist project architects in dimensional surveys of existing site/building conditions
  • Communicate with consultants and clients to implement their goals in project deliverables
  • Maintain files including drawings, documents, specifications, correspondences and all other project materials in an organised manner following protocols
  • Ensure all deliverables produced follow standards of the firm and direction from project leader or principal
  • Develop design and presentation documents in support of various project phases

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
    (spoken and written)
  • Significant contributions to an extremely well documented and coordinated drawing set
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, V-Ray, Grasshopper, and 3ds Max
  • Excellent Adobe Suite skills

Experience & Qualifications:

Adjaye Associates is looking for a Project Architect in our New York office with a broad range of experience in scales from private houses, retail and exhibitions to cultural centers, civic landmarks, residential towers and community masterplans. The successful candidate will share in our devotion for social impact, and should have experience managing consultants, contractors, and clients while mentoring a team to complete extremely high-quality work in a self-motivated but collaborative manner.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reporting to the Principle, Director, and Senior Leaders
  • Management of junior team members
  • Drafting comprehensive drawing sets from concept through construction documents
  • Developing presentations, renderings, and models
  • Resolve design issues with creative and practical solutions by developing multiple design options that meet the project budget and design approach
  • Coordinate with consultants, fabricators, vendors and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
    (spoken and written)
  • Fluent in putting together an extremely well documented and coordinated drawing set
  • Comfort balancing project schedules, staffing, and budget constraints
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Rhino, with V-Ray, Grasshopper, and 3ds Max a plus.
  • Excellent Adobe Suite skills
  • Solid understanding of materials, construction techniques, and zoning / building codes.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work on multiple or fast paced projects.

Visualiser
Adjaye Associates is looking for a Visualiser in our New York office. The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of professional experience in a marking or business development role within the Architectural or Interior industry. The coordinator should be a proven self-starter, able to identify areas of growth or opportunity and execute projects with minimal direction, work well under pressure, able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks often with competing deadlines.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Creating high-quality renders in cooperation with and under the direction of project leaders, design staff
  • When applicable, producing animations and VR materials
  • Building and organising our visualisation library

Experience & Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in graphics, art, architecture or other design related
  • Experience in Architectural visualisation preferred
  • Solid understanding of all phases of production and render farms
  • Creative and thoughtful, with a keen eye for details
  • Comfortable collaborating with colleagues at various levels, from junior to directors
  • Strong skills in V-Ray (making materials, lighting, render setup) Rhino and Enscape will be highly advantageous
  • Experience with (Photoshop & After Effects)
  • Working knowledge of CAD drawings and models
  • 3D animation creation and film industry experience (advertising, short film) or photography is an advantage
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
